Magazine Reflection

         When I drew this drawing/article it was to represent and show how it was my time to shine. Also, this piece was to inform readers about me. I think this piece was very successful because it looks like an actual magazine article. If i was to redo this piece, I wouldn't. Everything that needs to be said about Eddie Jackson and how he works is on that magazine article so I feel that there is no need for me to redo it. When asking me what the most difficult part of this art piece, I would say I don't know. It shouldn't be difficult especially if I am writing about myself because I will always know myself more than any other person. In conclusion, I learned if you know yourself, then it will be easier to tell about yourself.

War Torn Country

This drawing represents how Africa is a country torn by war. The way that the people live in Africa because of the civil war that have happened there and that have scared Africa. This piece paints a picture and tells a small story of how Africa was affected. I feel that this piece was successful because of the fact that it tells a story. Also, I am not a good painter but with this piece it did not matter. This piece was to tell a story and sometimes stories can be fuzzy and misread that is why I think my lack of painting experience can slide for now.

If I was to redo this, I wouldn't. This piece tells a story in it self and by me redoing it would not help improve the story that it is trying to tell. One thing that worked about this piece was that I knew what I was going to draw and I had a solid layout for everything. When having a solid layout with what you are going to draw, it will make the drawing better understood.

Scavenger Hunt

This drawing piece is very good when it comes to shading. Everything looks as if it pops out of the paper because of shading. This is why I think this piece was successful. Something that really worked about this piece was that it was about things that I use in my daily life and I was comfortable drawing them and because  of that I think this piece was easy to draw. Staying relaxed is a good way to get a good outcome when an artist is drawing. I am used to all these things on this page so it was easy for me to bring them to life.

 Even though this piece was easy to draw, I still wouldn't have been able to redo this. The shading is what makes this piece to come to life and I don't think that I could shade the same way. With this piece, I learn that shading is a big factor in bringing drawings to life.

Paul Pierce

This drawing piece is by far the best piece that I have created. By me selecting to contribute and add to Paul Pierce, I was able to practice my shading and detailing to bring my art piece to life. In my opinion, I would say that this art piece was very success. The selection that I choose brought the picture to life and that is a success for any art piece when an artist can bring his drawings to life.

One thing that worked about this piece is the shading. This piece was hard to draw but the shading was simple. Also, the shading gave color to the drawing and this also brought it to life. If I was to redo this again I don't think that i would be able to get the same outcome that I got, because an artist can never draw the same thing the same way but he can draw something similar and give it a different life. A good example is the Paul Pierce drawing. They may share some similar qualities but they are not completely similar. On the right, Paul Pierce seems to look fat and on the right, he seems to look young. It was hard to make these pieces resemble each other and i learned that.

Guy

This was one of my first hands on painting pieces. I think i did ok, but obviously i'm not that good at it. If i could redo this over, i would take my time on it and make sure that everything is painted nice and neat. Also, i would change the background color. I am not that satisfied with this piece because i was trying to draw a person and it ends up looking like a suspious person. I would probably draw something else if i was to redo this piece and also take my time. The only thing good about this art piece is the selection of colors. I think i chose the right color for this piece to add a positive thought to my poor painting skills. Now that i know what colors to use, i just have to take my time and bring the art piece to life.

Roger & Skeleton

I really liked this piece because I watch American Dad and also because I think this is one of my better drawings. The way i drew this piece kind of brings Roger to life. I Love drawing my favorite cartoon characters and this drawing was a success. If i could change anything about this piece, i would not change a thing. The only thing different i would do is probably add color to Roger to make him pop off the page more. Also, I really don't know how Rogers actual skeleton looks like so i just did a guess. In doing that, i think it looks pretty accurate. I have learned from this piece. what i learn was that if i take my time, then the outcome of my drawing will be good instead of rushing through all of them. In conclusion, if i was to redo this piece, i wouldn't.

EVJ

This art piece was one of my least favorites. It just doesn't pop out like some of my other art pieces do. If I could redo this whole thing, I would. I would choose a different background color and maybe a different style to draw my name in. If i was to choose what my favorite part of doing this art piece, I would say that it was glue-ing because I really think that I did bad on this art piece. I know that I can learn from  this piece as I do with all my other pieces. Drawing a neat outline with change and effect how the overal outcome of the art piece will be. In conclusion, there is not much to say about this drawing because it is so plain. If i could go back and change the whole thing, i would.
