Dream Hallway

This drawing was a disappointment to me. I think i could of did better and the color selection is awful. This drawing was not really successful. Nothing really worked about this drawing either. If i was to redo this drawing, i would redo the whole thing. i would change the color scheme too. I learned from this piece that nothing is always perfect, so you got to strive in for perfection. The most difficult part of this drawing was selection the right colors and i think i tried to hard to make it look good, but i ended up messing it.

One-point perspective Hallway

This piece looks great, i think i really did good on this. Its just a simple and good drawing. I would  say that the drawing was a success. What really worked about this piece was how it was so simple, using just a pencil and a ruler. Just simple. If i had to change this drawing i wouldn't because its perfect. The most difficult part of this drawing was putting the trashing can in.

Cowboy

My overall thought on this piece is that i think i could of did better with this piece. The shadings were good and the choice of color was good. On a scale of one to ten, the success level for this art piece i would say is a six. I did good, but there is still more things that i need to work on. The upper body of my cowboy is longer than the lower body.
What really worked about this art piece? The choice of color i used is what really worked. It actually looks like what a cowboy might wear. What didn't work about this piece is drawing a plastic action figure with out any face features or color and make it have color. Also what did work was me trying to make the action figure drawing bigger.
If i was to redo this piece again, i would change a few things. I would change the length of the action figures arms. Also, i would change the length of his upper body. He is too long and i would probably change the position he is in.     The most difficult part of drawing this was making the drawing have life. The action figure i drew was just a solid red and you couldn't see his eyes or any detail that good, in his face.     In this piece i learned that i can always do better. Which is the same with my other pieces.

I made this one point perspective of my favorite athlete. My overall thought is that i could have did better on  this piece. It seems kind of sloppy. I don't think this drawing was successful. What didn't work about this is how i spaced each letter. If i was to redo this again, i would make sure everything is nice and neat. The most difficult part of this piece was making every letter into a one point perspective. From this drawing i learned that there is a lot of things i have to do if i want to be a successful artist.

Still Life drawing

Overall i think i did pretty good on this drawing. I think the shading was just right, and all the detail i added was scrumptious. What really work about this drawing? When i was drawing this piece, i didn't want   to add too much to it. There was a tree in the front of this drawing but i did not draw it there because it makes the picture look "too" crowded.  If i was to redo this picture again, i wouldn't change anything about it. It is perfect just the way it is. The most difficult party about completing this piece was the shading. There were many different places that the light hit and where it didn't. Also, from this piece i learned how to blend the shades more and how to make them complement each other.

Coca cola Y Mountain Dew de Art:

My overal thought on my finished art piece is that i could of added more detail to the can on the left and also i could of inked the photo on the left with the same pen i used on the one on the right. Even though i inked both drawig with different pens, i still think my pop can drawing was successful because both drawings look like replicated copyies of the original ones.

What really worked about my drawing was the angles that i was drawing the pop can from. depending on the angle, i was able to add the amount of details needed to make my mountain dew pop can come to life. What didnt work for me was when we crushed the pop cans and drew them. It was very hard for me to draw a crushed can because it was shaped different and also there were more details to be put in, to make it look crushed. I rotated the coca cola pop can til i found which angle would be easier and better to draw.

The most difficult part of both pieces was starting with the top and working my way to the bottom. What i mean by that is that i had trouble with how to make circle. Could i have made it more slanted or less round and more oval? All those were the questions that i was thinking about while making my art piece.

If i were to do this project over again, i would ink both pictures with the same ink pen. I dont think i would draw anything different except add more detail to the pop can on the left.
I learned from this piece that there is always things i can improve on when im drawing. I can use this lesson in everyday life too. I can try to do my best and put my best foot foward.
